Aboard the ferries between Sweden and Denmark, the series captures everyday life and the unique “tura” ritual, where conversations, laughter, reunions – and the occasional unexpected romance – unfold. At Deep Studios, we developed the core concept and produced the series. Turan is more than a journey across the strait; it is a tribute to the pulse of the borderlands, to the freedom of staying onboard, and to the beauty of the familiar becoming something new.
