But fate had other plans, and time waits for no one. Börje was able to start the project but never had the chance to see it through. Instead, his children, together with long-standing family friends, have taken the final steps to make the watch a reality.

The result is a timepiece true to Börje’s vision: a high-quality mechanical watch that will be produced in a maximum of 1,148 pieces — the same number of games Börje played in the NHL.

We found our inspiration in Börje’s story — his relationship with his family and the sport he loved — and created the theme “Dad made a watch.”

This ultimately resulted in a campaign that, in our view, does justice to a truly remarkable watch and a genuine hockey legend.
