Blood is a crucial resource in medical operations, childbirth, cancer treatments and accidents. But today, blood stocks are not sufficient.

To draw attention to the need for more blood donors, the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen) launched a national campaign with the aim of doubling the number of donors.
We have been the National Board of Health and Welfare's procured film production company since 2017 and were commissioned to create the campaign's films and stills. The idea and script were provided by Gullers, another contracted partner and agency with whom we have collaborated on several previous productions.
"You carry someone else's future" became the campaign's central message. The goal was to demonstrate in an emotional and engaging manner the significant impact a blood donor can have.
In the films, we follow the journey from the blood donation centre to the moments in life made possible by the efforts of blood donors.
Through the perspective of the mobile camera, the viewer becomes a participant in another person's life, rather than a passive spectator.
The films we produce for the National Board of Health and Welfare often address sensitive topics and messages. Previous productions have explored, among other things, the responsibility of healthcare for children as relatives and children who cannot live at home. This places high demands on casting and the entire execution to ensure everything resonates correctly.

The campaign was primarily seen in outdoor advertising on public transport and digital video ads – in places where the message reaches many people and can really make a difference.
